Checking the VPU for power and internet

One of the first points of troubleshooting a disruption to your stream is checking whether the VPU (Video Processing Unit) and CHU (Camera Head Unit) are powered up and have a strong internet connection. You can do this by:


  1. Running an internet speed test on a mobile device that is connected to the same network as the VPU.
  2. Looking at the ports at the back of the VPU. If you see any lights, it means that the VPU and CHU have power. 
  3. Analysing the colours of the port lights which connect the CHU to the VPU.
