Four port and two port sound set up

Set up the sound boxes as shown in the picture below:

All connection points should not be touching any metal objects. 

FOUR PORT

Front Set Up

Mics in port 1 and port 2.

Ambient (from CHU) in port 3 and port 4.

All buttons out.

Stereo/Mono pressed in (indicating mono).

Start mic dials at 10:30.

Start ambient dials at 13:00.

Mix dial completely off (completely turned to the left).

Main Out dial completely on (completely turned to the right).

Phones dial irrelevant unless headphones are being used.

Back Set Up

5V power, DC cord plugged in to a plug point OR USB cord plugged in to a phone AC adapter which is plugged in to a plug point.

+48V switched to on.

One cable out - which connects to the two port.

One cable connecting the four port to the two port.

TWO PORT

Front Set Up

Connecting cable into input 1.

Line/Inst buttons pushed in (indicating Inst).

Pad buttons out.

Direct monitor pressed in.

All dials starting at 10:30.

Phones dial irrelevant unless headphones are being used.

Back Set Up

USB cable plugs in to the VPU.

+48V switched to off.

If there are still issues with the sound follow these steps:

1) Remove the 5V power cable from the 4 port sound box.

2) Unplug the 2 port sound box from the VPU.

3) Wait 1 minute.

4) Reconnect the power cables.
