Mobile System: Venue recce guidelines

Before event day, you should do a recce of the event venue and determine the best set up location. Some guidelines for your recce are listed below

• The mobile system should be centred as close to the halfway line as possible. The system may sit off centre by a distance of 5% of the full field length.
• There should be space for a minimum standoff of 6m and no height obstructions. The standoff:height ratio should be between 1:1 and 1:1.5.
• If the system can be set up on an already raised level, that would be a bonus.
• The nearest power point needs to be easily accessible.
• The location should be in an area that will have little to no human traffic.
