There is a 10-minute block before the start of an event. This means that you can adjust the event start time up to 10 minutes before the start of the event. If you are within 10 minutes of the event start time, the start time cannot be adjusted. The end time of an event can be adjusted up to 1 min before the end of the event.
FIXTURES STARTING EARLY
If a fixture has been moved to start earlier than the original time, there are two scenarios that can occur:
- You become aware of the earlier start time outside of the 10-minute block
Due to this change being outside of the 10 minute change block, you can simply adjust the start and end times of your event. For back to back events, you will work from the first event, down to the last event.
- You become aware of the earlier start time within the 10-minute block
There is nothing that can be done. The beginning of your first event will be missed. You can, however, adjust the start and end times of any games to come.
FIXTURES STARTING LATE
If the first fixture of the day has been moved to start later than the original time, there are two scenarios that can occur:
- You become aware of the later start time outside of the 10-minute block
You can adjust the start and end times of your events, but you will need to work backwards- from the last event up. If you work from the top, down, the fixture times will overlap, and your events may get deleted.
- You become aware of the later start time within the 10-minute block
You will follow the same process as above, working backwards- from the last event up. You will adjust the start and end times of all your upcoming events except the first event. You will not be able to adjust the start time of your first event due to the 10-minute block. You will, however, be able to adjust its end time.
Unlist the first event and adjust its end time so that it ends 1 minute after the start time. If it has already gone live, then unlist the event and adjust the end time so that it ends in 1 minute time. Once the first event has ended, you will then need to recreate an event for the first fixture using the new start and end times.
FIXTURES RUNNING LATE
At half time of each game, check whether the fixtures are running on time and decide to adjust the start times of the games to come, and the end time of the current game.
Work backwards from the last event up and adjust the start and end times of the fixtures based off the time delay.
