Adding Team Rosters

Team rosters can be added in the CMS at either the Event Level or Team Level (if a Sport Type has been selected for the team).


The process is the same for both and can be done in two ways:

  • Using a CSV template for bulk upload

  • Manually, by adding players individually


CSV Template


  1. Download the CSV template by clicking “Download File.”

  2. Once downloaded, filling out the template is straightforward:
    • Column 1: Player's First Name
    • Column 2: Player's Last Name
    • Column 3: Jersey Number
    • Column 4: Position
  3. Once all players have been added, save the CSV file and upload it back into the system.


Manually

To add players individually,

  1. Click the “+ Add New” button

  2. A pop-up window will appear with four fields to complete for each player:
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Jersey Number
    • Position


  3. Once the information is entered, click “Add” to save the player’s details.

  4. To add another player, simply click the “+ Add New” button again.


Viewing and Editing your Rosters in the CMS

By clicking on your team, you can view, edit (using the pencil icon), or delete (using the cross icon) the players that have been added.


These changes can be made as many times as needed until your Advance GFX scorelink is started.

Once the scorelink has started, any adjustments must be made directly through your Advance GFX scorelink.


Team Rosters through Advance GFX

If Team Rosters have been added via the CMS — either at the event or team level — the rosters will automatically transfer to your Advance GFX scorelink once it has been started.


Note: After this point, any player edits or changes must be made directly through the Advance GFX scorelink, not via the CMS.


Once your Advance GFX scorelink is open, you will choose between detailed or basic scoring. Then, click on your correct theme and select the "Select Theme" button at the bottom.


This will take you to a page where you can view your teams and the players you’ve added.


  • To start a player, toggle on the switch marked by the red box above.
  • To select a substitute player, toggle on the switch marked by the orange box above.
  • Players not playing will have neither toggle activated.


At this point, you can also edit or remove a player by clicking on the three dots, indicated by the red arrow below.

Additionally, the player order can be adjusted.


Once "Start Match" is selected, last-minute additions and edits can be made by clicking "Edit Line Up".


  • Viewing your Team Line Ups

Team line-ups can be viewed by selecting a Team Line Up option under Overlay Controls and viewing them through your Graphic Overlay URL.



  • Adding Coaches Names

Coaches' names can be added by selecting the settings cog and editing the information under Match Info.
